The flowers are similar to the ruby red flower, but the leaves seem different. Whatever it is, it’s beautiful. If you find out, please let me know. I’d love to find some seeds for this!
Looked up Ruby Frost on Google, if it could be grown in Canada (because of our winters). We have what is known “plant hardiness zones” that we look up on Google to see if a plant would survive the winter. I live in a zone 5. Found out the Ruby Frost is a zone 6-9. http://www.canadaplants.ca/display.php?id=2653 It can be grown on the western coast of Canada, which is pretty cool! 🙂
Now I am searching for a similar website for India! There are so many big plans I am building for my future garden 😀
Maybe you can gift this plant to someone you know along the western coast 🙂
Was it purposely given the title of Jessie McCartney song? Cuz it sure as hell reminded me of it , great song 😀
And an absolutely beautiful photograph 🙂
I love these, and the photo fits the quote so well! How fun. Have you ever tried the GardenAnswers smartphone app? I find it really helpful for when I spot gorgeous plants on hikes and have no idea what I’m looking at (a predicament I seem to find myself in often :)).
Names of flowers aren’t my strong point as I’m sure you know by now, but wow, they are stunning!

Just had a quick look online…could they be Ruby Frost?

Thank you 🙂 Yes! They do seem to be Ruby Frost – not the X-files female as Google told me initially!

The leaves are of another plant! The angle… It seems to be ruby frost; will try to get hold of a gardener 🙂

Stunning photo of the flowers! And, I love that you call the book “a painting of words.”

The picture is just stunning. The light behind almost makes them look 3D. Not sure what they are….sorry. But they really are beautiful! 🙂
