I was nominated by Shashank, Amrit, Tejas and Helen for the Three Days, Three Quotes Challenge 🙂 I am going to cheat a bit and go for nine quotes at one go! Yeah 😛 I get off the grid and come back all lazy instead of pumped up!
To make it a little fun, I went for three authors and selected quotes that I liked the most. Without further ado, let’s jump right in!
First up, Alice Hoffman.
“Books may well be the only true magic.”
“Just because something is unspoken doesn’t mean that it disappears.”
“Do you ever just put your arms out and just spin and spin and spin? Well, that’s what love is like; everything inside of you tells you to stop before you fall, but for some reason you just keep going.”
Next, Charles Schulz.
“I love mankind … it’s people I can’t stand!!”
“Be yourself. No one can say you’re doing it wrong.”
“Sometimes I lie awake at night, and I ask, ‘Where have I gone wrong’.
Then a voice says to me, ‘This is going to take more than one night.”
Last but not the least, Ernest Hemingway.
“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”
“I love sleep. My life has the tendency to fall apart when I’m awake, you know?”
“Every day is a new day. It is better to be lucky. But I would rather be exact. Then when luck comes you are ready.”
And because I took the easy way out, here is a bonus quote by Ray Bradbury.
“I have never listened to anyone who criticized my taste in space travel, sideshows or gorillas. When this occurs, I pack up my dinosaurs and leave the room.”
If you were feeling too lazy to go through ten quotes at one go – Enjoy this… Apparently this is true! ❤

Bang on. I Loved all the quotes – yes all of them. And I “forgive” you for taking the easy way out just for the penguin thing at the end. It melts you like butter. 🙂

Thank you Tejas 😀 Penguin was my way of buttering as well!

I can see that!!!! The butter made my fingers slip off the keyboard while I was going to bash you for taking the shorter route 😛

Can you also spice it up a little. Too much of the things those melt is no fun. 😉

Ha! i’ve actually literally written blog posts about the numbers 7, 11, and 12, titled as such as Seven, Eleven, and Twelve with some word play with the letters.. highly abstract.. and perhaps just meaningful to me or not.. but smiles.. there is nothing really that I do not enjoy writing about.. including NOTHING LITERALLY.. AND METAPHORICally of course.. it’s all about the imagination and creativity with a little reason mixed in now and then.. smiles.. and have a nice now friend..:)
Thirteen is so sacred to me… i cannot speak the word Thirteen as a title of a blog post.. and i’m kinda serious about that too.. with more smiles.. and winks.. as well.. in Synchronicity ways..:)

But hands down my favorite was the first one by Ernest Hemingway, I could not agree more to that and stands so true to my writing 🙂
